This series of 10 designs featured individual designs honoring the 10 heraldic beasts that were present in the pageantry of Elizabeth IIs coronation ceremony in 1953. The Queens Beast Series was introduced in 2016 with the oldest and most significant heraldic beast in British history, the Lion of England. Over the following issues from 2017 to 2021, the mint feature nine additional heraldic beasts from monarchs of the Yorkist, Tudor, Plantagenet, and Hanoverian dynasties the controlled the throne over more than eight centuries.
All of these 2022 1 oz British Platinum Queens Beast Collection Coins offer a conclusion to the series with a distinctive design. The coins available here come in Brilliant Uncirculated condition with plastic flips for individual coins. Multiples come in acrylic tubes of 10 or boxes of 100 coins.
Queen Elizabeth II features on the obverse of 2022 British Platinum Queens Beast Collection Coins. Her Majesty is shown here in right-profile relief in the Jody Clark design from 2015. The fifth-generation portrait of the Queen during her reign, this effigy captures her at the age of 89 with the George IV State Diadem Crown.
All 10 of the heraldic beasts to feature in the Queens Beast Series feature on these 2022 1 oz Platinum Queens Beast Collection Coins. Jody Clarks effigy of the Queen features again on this side of the coin, but in a smaller format. Around Her Majesty, all 10 of the beasts feature from the Lion of England, clockwise around to the White Greyhound of Richmond.
